Our Curriculum Delivery in schools aims to help deliver high-quality and high impact educational provision using the power of sport and the local interest in Shrewsbury Town Football Club
The school curriculum offer has been carefully developed by teachers to use the power and popularity of football to motivate children and connect their learning to the world around them.
We provide schools with lessons and resources linked to the curriculum of Physical Education (P.E), Personal, Social and Health Education (PHSE), English, Maths, and Enterprise that will inspire children to reach their goals. Along with this there are options to take part in targeted interventions and lessons in PE, PSHE, Maths, and Literacy. Each delivery timetable is bespoke for each school based on their needs and desired outcomes.
PSHE topics range from health and wellbeing, diversity, resilience and relationships along with a range of Maths, Literacy and P.E lessons.
Competitions are also run through the programme from national football tournaments such as the EFL Kids cup, which could potentially give the opportunity for teams to play at Wembley.
Extras are also available for schools for visits from Lenny the Lion and player visits along with fundraising opportunities and School of the Day match visits.
