Shrewsbury Town in the Community are delighted to announce Dan Udoh as this year’s PFA Community Champion.

In his time at the club, Dan has not only played a significant role on the pitch, but also within the community and wider aspects of the football club. He has helped make many fans days through the activities he has done with us, such as participating in a virtual player appearance for some of our partner schools. Even with the difficulty of recent times, Dan has also backed important initiatives and worked with the football club to keep fans engaged and motivated throughout lockdowns.

“Dan has been fantastic this year, he has offered his support to our programmes and projects in these difficult times, which has helped to inspire so many of our participants. The player’s don’t realise just how special they are to people in our community and their support goes a long way to helping us achieve our aims. Dan is somebody who sets the room alight when he walks in, he talks to everybody, he smiles, gets involved. He just embraces everything we do” – Jamie Edwards – CEO Shrewsbury Town in the Community
