Shrewsbury Town in the Community are delighted to be launching the Dave Edwards boot appeal!

From this Saturday’s Community Day Event onwards we will be collecting any unwanted football boots and trainers at the Mercedes-Benz Football Hub which will then be donated for individuals who need them most in order to give everyone opportunity to play football and take part in sport.

The items collected will also be used for the ‘Off The Streets FC’ project in conjunction with Shrewsbury Ark, giving their clientele the opportunity to take part in weekly football sessions to allow them to stay active and act as a social and support group.

Any and all donations will be gladly accepted – just please make sure footwear is in a wearable condition.

Please bring your donations to the Mercedes-Benz Football Hub Reception area where there will be a collection point.
