Following the Launch of the ShrewsFamily campaign, Shrewsbury Town in the Community are overwhelmed with the support and donations they have received from local businesses to help make ‘ShrewsFamily’ a success.
Following their donation in February, Net World Sports have continued to support Shrewsbury Town in the Community by donating 100 water bottles to be placed in isolation/care packages, that are being sent to Shrewsbury Town In The Community’s youth and Shrewsability participants. Along with the water bottles, Net World Sports have also kindly provided Shrewsbury Town in the Community with on-going equipment discount.
Back in February Net World Sports kindly donated over £1,300 worth of equipment to Shrewsbury Town in the Community. This included cones, water bottles, a football rebound net, basketballs, football bibs, a free kick mannequin and so much more. This was all to help aid Shrewsbury Town in the Community in their delivery of 35 projects across Shropshire. The equipment provided has since been used by thousands of participants and has allowed people of all ages the opportunity to develop their sporting skills whilst promoting physical fitness and good health.
Facilities and Events Manager Steven Burnside said “It’s great to see so many local businesses supporting ‘ShrewsFamily’ and helping to assist Shrewsbury Town in the Community and Shrewsbury Town Football club support their fans and participants. We cannot thank Net World Sports enough for their generosity to both ShrewsFamily and Shrewsbury Town in the Community. The equipment provided directly impacts the health and wellbeing of our participants and thanks to Net World Sports we are able to provide our local communities with the opportunity to stay healthy even during this lockdown period.”
