On the back of the successful launch of the Prees advanced development centre in the summer of 2018, Shrewsbury Town are proud to announce that they are launching a new Bridgnorth development centre.

The advanced development centres aim to provide opportunities for players between the age of 8 and 12 years old to benefit from advanced coaching. The ADC offers players a pathway into elite football, ultimately ending with the possibility of representing the Shrewsbury Town academy.

Sessions are designed to develop the skills relevant to the modern game for all players, across all positions and for players to be comfortable in all areas of the pitch. It also presents the opportunity to represent Shrewsbury Town FC in matches, and move into the club’s academy should you show the required ability.

Speaking of the Advanced Development Centres, Shrewsbury Town Academy Manager Eric Ramsay said,

“Our Advanced Development Centre’s are an excellent opportunity to progress and bridge the gap between grass roots and elite football. The programme is designed to identify talent that we could potentially push forward into Shrewsbury Town’s Academy system.”
