We are delighted to welcome a new Health Activator to our team as we continue to step up our work across Shropshire!

Kim Bebbington joined Shrewsbury Town in the Community on 4th January as a Health Activator. Kim will be working alongside our Health & Wellbeing team on our current sessions, alongside heading up new projects to encourage our community to get fit, stay active and be healthy.

Kim has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Health and Wellbeing after working within the sector for over 6 years. With her Masters Degree in Applied Science from the University of Worcester, her Undergraduate Degree in Sport and Exercise Science and various qualifications in delivering physical activity, including Level 4 in cardiac rehab and Level 4 in cancer and exercise, Kim will be a huge asset to the team.

 

Kim Bebbington commented: 

“I am excited to join the Shrewsbury Town in the Community team and contribute to the existing initiatives whilst developing new, fun projects to keep our community active and fit”

Our Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, Kate Lindley added:
“We are thrilled to welcome Kim to our Health and Wellbeing programme. She brings years of experience and knowledge with her, having managed health intervention projects over the last few years. Kim bring a person-centred ethos to her work and is everything we look for at Shrewsbury Town in the Community. She will fit right in!”
